Metallica, new and old!

I personally love to listen to Metallica old and new. I truelly believe their first five albums; Kill Them All, Ride the Lighting, Master of Puppets, And Justice for All, and finally the Black album, at the best. However its important to note that the post black album era are also very good. Metallica is an amazing band and very talented, and their newest album, Magnectica, shows this talent.

I don't under stand why alot of major fans instantly shooted out with hate towards the band due to the band branching out and making some new type of music.

How do you fell of a band that looks for new and different music? They were rocking out the same style of music for over 10 years, whats wrong with a little change?!
